Jing Chen was one of three panelists with Chris Potter of NASA AIMS and Pieter Tans of NOAA CMDL at a press conference entitled "North America Carbon Sinks" during the Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union,which took place at San Francisco December 10-14, 2002. CNN news and other news agencies including the Associated Press reported the outcome of the conference.
